this will be the last dance that the moosefits will be hosting for 2025. we will start again in march 2026

Entry form for the competition will be found at the door on the day of the dance (sign up in person)

The Dance contest will include 4 divisions:

1st - Beginner (people who have been dancing for a year or less)

First round “crocodile tears” by Lee roy Parnell

Second round “Dolores” by the mavericks

2nd - Intermediate (people with 1-2 years experience dancing)

First round “come a little bit closer” by jay and the Americans

Second round “past the point of rescue” by Hal Ketchum

3rd - Advanced (People with over 2 years experience)

First round “old barn” by Hola Ghost

Second round “zoot suit riot” by cherry poppin daddies

4th - open (no requirement for how long you have danced)

First round “golden hour” by the electric swing circus

Second round “I think they call this love” by Eliot James Reay

Additional Information

• It is up to you what division you want to compete in.

• These are all partner dances no line dances at this time.

• There will be a prize for each category.

• Only a select few dancers will progress to the second round as chosen by the audience

IMPORTANT: ANYONE CAN COMPETE IT IS NOT LIMITED SOLEY TO MEMBERS.
